It is about four miles south of the A861’s junction with the A830, the picturesque Road to the Isles. It is a few miles north of the Ardnamurchan peninsular.
The house is about 40 minutes by car from Fort William, 3 hours by car from Glasgow, 2 ½ hours by car from Inverness and less than 4 hours from Edinburgh. It usually takes us between 10 and 12 hours to drive from our main home in Hertfordshire to Coopers Knowe House. So whilst the house is in a fairly remote location – all the better to enjoy a holiday genuinely ‘away from it all’, the journey is straightforward via a series of ‘A’ roads.
